I don’t remember the sun hiding so much when I was younger. Perhaps I just didn’t pay as much attention to it as I do now. Getting older and longing for warmth and sunshine - natural vitamin D makes me search for the sun almost daily, it makes me long for summer and being outdoors and playing until the streets light came on. This artwork was brought forth out of that yearning.
